2013 Overnight Camps

Not all those who wander are lost

Based out of backcountry huts, our overnight courses allow young explorers, scientists, and stewards to experience the thrill of the backcountry and all it offers. Each course is designed to engage participants in a range of activities from map and compass orientation to ecology and field research.

Campers investigate principles of ecology in their own backyards, developing an understanding of scientific concepts through fun, adventure, and exploration. Camp sessions highlight different natural history topics and are geared toward helping students develop an understanding of and an appreciation for the natural world. Sessions are all age-appropriate and supervised by qualified environmental educators that make learning safe and fun.
