Kelly is a naturalist intern from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently a student at Ohio State University studying environmental science with an emphasis on ecosystem restoration. During her last year in school, Kelly will be doing research on Lady Bugs and soil contaminants, working as a teaching assistant for an introduction to environmental science course, and participating in club events. After graduation, she looks forward to finding a job where she can share her passion for the natural world with others.
She found her love for the outdoors by traveling out west with her family throughout her childhood and it became a dream of hers to live in Colorado. In her free time, she loves hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, camping, and running. Kelly excited to spend the summer exploring the Colorado Rockies and teaching visitors about the ecology in Colorado.
