Taylor’s roots are in Kansas, where she is currently completing her education in Life Science, Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences, and Nonprofit Leadership at Kansas State University. Growing up, much of her time was spent exploring the outdoors and visiting different National Parks. From those experiences, she developed a deep love to travel, which inspired her to trade her backyard of the Great Plains to the Austrian Alps during a year abroad. She has recent experience working at a discovery center in Maine, as well as with a community-based nonprofit organization in The Gambia, a small country in northern Africa. What Taylor looks forward to most about her position as a Sustainability Intern is the opportunity to collaborate hands on with other people on initiatives she is passionate about, especially Mountain IDEAL and Zero Waste events. It has been a dream of hers to live in Colorado since the first time she ever went skiing there, and she is excited for the opportunity to live in the valley for the summer.
