Are Summer Camp T-Shirts included in the price of camp?

No, T-shirts are not included in the price of camp. You may purchase a Summer Camp T-shirt when you register your child for camp online or at the Walking Mountains Science Center store during camp hours throughout this summer. For our Eagle camps at Brush Creek Elementary, the educators will have shirts for sale on Friday during the parent presentation and watermelon picnic.

Does Walking Mountains Science Center divide its camps by grade?

Yes, we divide our camps by the grade that the student is entering in the fall. For example, if your student is entering 1st grade this upcoming fall, you would register them for a 1st/2nd grade camp. Similarly, if your student is entering 5th grade in the fall, they cannot register for a 3rd/4th grade camp. This is a strict policy that we’ve found to be the best way to facilitate our camps.

Do you have camps for preschoolers?

No, we do not offer camps for students younger than 6 years old or students entering Kindergarten. There are other programs we offer at Walking Mountains Science Center though, such as Earth Keepers on Monday and Friday mornings, which is for students between 3-5 years old. Click here to learn more about our Preschool programs.
