Casey was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She fell in love with nature at an early age, camping with her family from the time she was a baby. Casey graduated Magna Cum Laude from Denison University in 2021 where she earned a B. S. in Biology and a B. A. in Environmental Studies. She has had a variety of outdoor education experiences. Casey spent a summer as camp counselor at an all girls camp in Texas. She had the opportunity to intern in Wildlife Rehabilitation helping to care for injured and orphaned wildlife in New Mexico. Most recently, Casey spent a summer as a Kayak Tour Guide on Lake Michigan. Her experience educating the public helped her to realize the importance of environmental education in the lives of people of all ages. She wants to help everyone learn about and better appreciate the world around them.
In her free time Casey likes to get outdoors, especially to the water for kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. She spends most of her indoor time reading, painting, or embroidering.
