Dominique Rosario

Winter Naturalist

Dominique (she/her) was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and grew up hiking, playing soccer and swimming. Learning about composting, gardening and recycling in elementary school as well as volunteering for lake cleanups and trail maintenance days fueled Dominique’s passion for the environment. As an Environmental Studies and Spanish double major at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, she was Co-President of the environmental organization SEAK (Students for Environmental Activism and Knowledge). While in this position Dominique enjoyed engaging with her college community related to social justice and environmental advocacy. Since graduating in May, Dominique was a Summer Naturalist with Walking Mountains Science Center and is excited to return as a Naturalist for the winter season.

In her free time, Dominique likes to spend as much time outdoors hiking, camping or running. She also loves reading, crocheting, cooking and baking.
