Natalie Neuwirth

Environmental Leadership Coordinator

Natalie began her journey at Walking Mountains Science Center as a Foley Graduate Fellow and Science Educator in 2021 and is very excited to transition into the Environmental Leadership Coordinator role.

Throughout the last eight years, she’s learned that her favorite style of teaching is experiential education, especially in the setting of the natural world. She’s led sea kayaking trips through Norway’s mighty fjords, guided regenerative agriculture courses in New Zealand, and has spent the last two years teaching natural science topics to the students of Eagle County. Natalie is excited to continue her own personal mission to create connections to help inspire young people in environmental stewardship and leadership. In her free time, she enjoys farming, learning, traveling, hiking, skiing, backpacking, and cooking a big meal for the people around her!
