Lindsay grew up barefoot and muddy in the rolling hills and open oak woodlands of Northern California. Inspired, always, by her simple and sweet connection with the more-than-human world, she completed a degree in Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley while working in the field, conducting research on sensitive aquatic ecosystems and their response to human influence. Since then, she has been teaching about the beauty, complexity, and infinite healing power of the natural world, working with children and adults alike. An artist and a scientist, she loves to get creative with the inspirations of the elements, and is deeply nurtured by restoring relationships between people and the land. You can find her in the garden, foraging wild foods and medicines, climbing a tree or rock somewhere, or bathing in clear wild waters.
