Ania Gonzalez

Foley Graduate Fellow

Ania (she/her) graduated in May of 2020 from Ball State University with her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She was born and raised in Northwest Indiana where she grew up exploring the beaches of Lake Michigan and the sights of Chicago. Since then, Ania has combined her passions of working with children and spending time in nature by pursuing a career in environmental education. In search of adventure and professional development, she has worked as an Interpretive Naturalist in Indiana Dunes National Park, a Toddler Summer Educator at the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and as an Eco Week Instructor at Colorado State University Mountain Campus. She is fueled by her dedication to creating inclusive environments and brave spaces for people of all backgrounds in the great outdoors. When she is not hanging out with tiny humans and exploring ecosystems with them, she enjoys basking in the sun, creating art projects, and seeking out live music. She is very excited to get the chance to live in Colorado and be surrounded by mountains again!
