Rebecca was born and raised in South Carolina. She spent most of her childhood in the outdoors, exploring with her family in the mountains, at the beach and everywhere in between. Her love for nature and the ocean led her to pursue a degree in Marine Science from the University of South Carolina.
After graduating, she moved to Catalina Island off the coast of Southern California to teach Marine Science to school-aged children in an outdoor setting that took her on kayaking, snorkeling and hiking adventures all around the island. After two years of island life, Rebecca was ready to explore a new part of the country and moved to Denver in 2017. She worked with the Denver Botanic Gardens before becoming a full-time nanny and photography assistant.
She finds joy in being around children to teach them and help them learn all about the world around them. Its very important to her to get the message of preserving and helping our planet across to kids through teaching them about sustainability and being with them in nature to show them how amazing it really is!
