Trisha was born in Lake Placid, NY, located in the heart of the Adirondack Park. She attended the University of Vermont and received a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a minor in Studio Art in 2017. Since then, Trisha has functioned in a variety of roles while engaging students in the wonders of the outdoors, from farmyard educator to leading trips in Yellowstone National Park. Most recently, she co-taught the Kindergarten and 1st grade class at Mountain Academy of Teton Science Schools. Trisha believes in the importance of place-based education and is continuously inspired by the power of getting kids outside.
Outside of work, Trisha enjoys doing anything that allows her to spend time in nature, whether it is soaking up the sun while painting landscapes in the summertime or snowshoeing in the winter.
