Join us for a Full Moon Snowshoe where you’ll explore the quiet beauty of the winter landscape after dark. Over the course of three hours (7:00 PM –10:00 PM), your guide will lead you along snowy trails illuminated by the full moon’s light, sharing fascinating stories about lunar science, wildlife adaptations, and human history guided by the stars.

What to Bring: Come prepared with a thermos or bottle for hot drinks, a pack for extra warm clothes, and a headlamp—although on most clear nights, the headlamp will stay in your pack as the moonlight is more than enough to light our way up the trail! Hot water-bottles can also be nice to have on particularly cold nights!
Please Note: This is an extended outdoor excursion. Participants must be prepared for cold, winter conditions with proper insulated layers, warm hats, gloves, and sturdy, waterproof winter boots. The right gear ensures a comfortable and incredible night under the stars! Come embrace the cold and witness the spectacular sight of a full moon shining over a blanket of snow.
