Climate Action Collaborative
For the Eagle County Community
Led by Walking Mountains, the Climate Action Collaborative brings together local governments, businesses, and nonprofits to align efforts and advance shared climate goals. Through working groups and cross-sector collaboration, the Collaborative helps coordinate and accelerate implementation of the Eagle County Climate Action Plan.
Our Goal: to reduce emissions 50% by 2030 and 80% by 2050.
Climate Action Plan
For the Eagle County Community
More than 30 stakeholders collaborated to create the Climate Action Plan for the Eagle County community, followed by the formation of the Climate Action Collaborative. Stakeholders meet regularly, and the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners has partnered with Walking Mountains to manage and facilitate this ongoing community-wide effort.

The Climate Equity Plan is meant to support the diverse people who make up the Eagle County community through inclusive, equity-centered objectives that foster culturally relevant engagement in climate action.
