Walking Mountains delivers climate action through a portfolio of sustainability programs that reduce emissions across sectors, supported by collaborative partnerships like the Climate Action Collaborative.
We serve as a resource and education hub to inspire action from local to global.
Climate Action Collaborative
For the Eagle County Community
Led by Walking Mountains, the Climate Action Collaborative brings together local governments, businesses, and nonprofits to align efforts and advance shared climate goals. Through working groups and cross-sector collaboration, the Collaborative helps coordinate and accelerate implementation of the Eagle County Climate Action Plan.
Our Goal: to reduce emissions 50% by 2030 and 80% by 2050.

Stakeholders meet regularly, and the Eagle County Board of County Commissioners has partnered with Walking Mountains to manage and facilitate this ongoing community-wide effort.
