Creekside Nature Tour,
Vail Farmers Market

The Creekside Nature Tour is about 1.5 mile of walking over the course of 1 hour, with periods of standing at several nature stops. The path consists of both paved and unpaved surfaces with short up hills, stairs and sections of uneven terrain. This is a one way hike, starting at the Walking Mountains booth at the Vail Farmers’ Market and ending at the Vail Nature Center. People may opt to take the free in-town bus from the Vail Nature Center to get back to town.

  • Free. Reservations recommended. Please confirm that you have selected the correct date and time.
  • Family friendly and suitable for most physical abilities.
  • Strollers not recommend because of variable terrain and stairs.  
  • Pets not permitted on programs.
  • Please come prepared to spend an hour outside in a variable environment. Sturdy shoes, a jacket and sunglasses are recommended.
  • Please call the Walking Mountains at (970) 827-9725 if your plans change so that we may accommodate other visitors
  • This event departs from the Walking Mountains booth at the Vail Farmers’ Market near Blossom Himalayan Arts (100 E. Meadow Drive).
