Nestled among aspen and pine forests, the Precourt Mountain Discovery Center is the centerpiece of the Avon Tang Campus. Open to the public, the Visitor Center features interactive exhibits, group learning areas, a gift shop, and sustainable design elements that are part of the educational experience. Visitors are invited to join a free guided nature walk and explore their curiosity with us.

Internship and fellowship information

Completed in 2019, the Borgen Precourt Center for Sustainability is a LEED-certified building that houses Walking Mountains’ sustainability programs, offices, and classrooms. It includes the Mayer and Shannon Family Classrooms, supporting environmental education, hands-on workshops, and community events across the campus. Sustainability at its finest.
