A Taste of Nature

Overview

A Taste of Nature is Walking Mountains Science Center’s signature philanthropic event and one of the Vail Valley’s most anticipated summer evenings. Enjoy delectable wines, delicious food, and delightful company under the stars while raising vital support for Walking Mountains programs that awaken a sense of wonder in our community.

The 2021 event kicks off the 10th anniversary celebration of our Avon Tang Campus which now features six incredible buildings and 11 acres of beautiful land alongside Buck Creek. Additionally, we are delighted to honor the Frechette Family Foundation with our Reach for the Peak Award and to present Shawn Bruckman with our Founder’s Stewardship Award.

We are proud to announce that A Taste of Nature will also serve as the premiere of the Eagle Valley Wild photography exhibition by Todd Winslow Pierce, featuring 15 large format photographs of the land, water, and wildlife of Eagle County. We are thrilled to welcome the lead sponsor of Eagle Valley Wild, Photobucket, to the Walking Mountains family as well, and extend our gratitude to Gail & Jay Mahoney for their additional support.
