The traditional Fright at the Museum will return in 2022. This year, enjoy Science Spooktacular

This year,

visit Walking Mountains to celebrate the spooky season with our

Science Spooktacular
Presented by The Bookworm!

Beginning October 16, drop by anytime to travel through our Spooky Forest. Not into bat caves and ghostly wildlife? Walk the nature trails instead and enjoy the fall colors.

The weekends of October 23-24 and October 30-31, drop by the Avon Tang Campus for kid-friendly games and science experiments to celebrate the Halloween season. Visit us anytime during our business hours of 9am-4pm for activities like pumpkin bowling, dissolving candy corn, and prizes. Costumes encouraged but not necessary!

Special Event: Spooktacular Story Time! October 30 from 10-10:30AM and 11-11:30AM. No registration necessary for this event

Don’t forget that our Eagle Valley Wild photography exhibit is on campus through October 31, so bring the whole family!

Fright at the Museum is Walking Mountains’ annual family Halloween event! Join us to celebrate community and the season of spookiness while also raising vital support for educational programs that benefit the children, adults and families of Eagle County. Proceeds from the event are used to enhance and expand Walking Mountains’ programming so that even more people can participate and benefit from our unique, hands-on science education in the future.

This is an Actively Green event. Please bring your own reusable water bottles!
