Fright at the Museum is Halloween fun with a science twist! Get up close with creepy creatures, uncover spooky science, tackle hands-on activities, and explore the wonderfully weird side of the natural world. 

The entire Science Center campus will be transformed into a harvest festival  with nature and science stations, indoors and outdoors. Ideal for families with young children, adults can learn a lot too! Activities include pumpkin chuckin’, food science, potato sack races,  the spooky forest, and more!

Perfect for curious kids, brave families, and anyone who likes their science with a little fright! 

  • Parking is located off site at the Elk Lot and complimentary shuttle will take you to and from the event. For those with children 3 years old or under, additional parking instructions will be emailed to you.
  • Arrive when you would like and come prepared to spend 2 hours at the event with activities both indoors and outdoors.
  • Family friendly and suitable for most physical abilities. Not all trails are stroller friendly and stroller parking will be available.

  • Sturdy shoes and a jacket or extra layer are recommended. 
  • Costumes encouraged! 
  • All ticket sales are final. This event runs rain or shine.
  • Tickets required for all members of your party.
