This year’s activities will include a workshop at the library on in-home composting as well as a recycled art display featuring works completed by local students. The day will be highlighted by an electronics recycling and paper shredding event. Activities include:

Build your own Worm-Composter:  Monday, Nov. 14, 5-7 p.m., Vail Public Library

She is registered with the American Horticultural Therapy Association as a professional horticultural therapist and has facilitated programs at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens for more than 10 years. All supplies will be provided; class is limited to the first 20 people to sign up. Register by emailing mhoblitzell@vailgov.com or calling 970-479-2333.

Student Recycled Art Display: Monday, Nov. 14-19, Vail Public Library Galleria
