Vail Farmers Market Hikes
Overview
After enjoying your Sunday morning navigating the bustle, escape to nature in the afternoon with our Vail Farmers’ Market hikes!
Stop by the Vail Farmers’ Market & join an interpretive guide for an afternoon exploring Vail’s backcountry. Walking Mountains provides transportation to and from the trailhead, and experienced guides excited to share the cultural and natural history of the Vail Valley.
Hikes meet at 12:15 outside Walking Mountains’ booth at the Vail farmer’s market, where we will load a van and drive to one of our favorite local trails. Expect to spend about roughly 3 hours on the trail, and return to Vail by 4:30 – 5:00. Your guide can drop you off at the Vail Transportation Center & Lionshead Parking Structure in Vail, or at the Avon Transportation Center. Ages 12+
These hikes will take place on a Vail trail according to your guide’s judgement of conditions and time of year. To view descriptions of all the trails in rotation, click here.
