Amelia (she/her) was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. As a recent graduate from Arizona State University (ASU), Amelia received a B.S. in Conservation Biology and Ecology with a minor in Sustainability and a certificate in Sustainable Food Systems. During her time at ASU, Amelia managed a residential compost program, drafted a climate action plan for a city councilwoman in Phoenix, AZ, represented her university at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Madrid, Spain, created podcasts and educational videos with The Sustainability Review (tSR), and completed several environmental GIS projects. She is very excited to apply her experiences in sustainable outreach/education and explore the nearby mountains with the team at Walking Mountains.
Outside of work Amelia loves playing soccer, visiting her local farmer’s market, hiking in her hometown, and dabbling with photography/videography.
