Jorge Marquez

Jorge is originally from El Paso, Texas, but he spent most of his childhood living in Mexico. The desert holds a special place in his heart, but he’s just as excited to be near the mountains! Jorge earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from New Mexico State University. After graduating, he became an Environmental Educator at a Georgia 4-H center, where Jorge discovered his passion for teaching. In his free time, Jorge loves spending time with family and friends, but you can also find him out on a run, birdwatching, reading a good book, hiking, or simply soaking up the sunshine!
