Elie Roddy
Elie (she/her) graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s in forestry. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri with a love for the outdoors, although she always yearned to live in the mountains. Her passion is environmental education, and she hopes to get her master’s in it someday soon. She has a lot of experience working with kids, particularly in summer camps and after-school programs. She got her start in education as a Teen Guide at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, where she led inquiry-based and interactive tours about art and nature. She eventually took over leadership of this program and worked as manager. Elie’s favorite outdoor activities include hiking and foraging, but when she’s inside she loves baking, and sewing her own clothes. She is very excited to live and work in the Rocky Mountains.
