Naturalist
Tessa grew up in Papillion, Nebraska, and has a passion for baking, hiking, hammocking, photography, and crafting. She is currently a senior at South Dakota State University, where she will graduate this May with a B.S. in Ecology & Environmental Science, along with minors in Horticulture and Sustainability.
Tessa is an avid houseplant enthusiast and a firm believer that pineapple belongs on pizza. After spending a summer as a naturalist at Custer State Park in South Dakota, she discovered her love for teaching others about the outdoors. Tessa is excited to continue this journey as a naturalist at Walking Mountains, where she looks forward to engaging with the public and exploring Colorado’s natural beauty.
