Maya Curlej

Maya (she/her) grew up in eastern Pennsylvania where she spent most of her time exploring the Pocono Mountains and nearby rivers. Her love for the natural world is something she always remembers having and is pursuing to make into a career! She recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in wildlife biology. While in undergrad she was part of a program that partnered with a local elementary school to get students outside and interested in the environment around them. This developed a passion for outdoor education and making nature accessible to everyone! She is so excited to be exploring the Rockies and getting to do what she loves: teaching people about the outdoors! Maya fills her free time with snowboarding, birding, swimming, crafting, and baking!
