Alexa Hudson
Alexa (she/they) is a Colorado native, having grown up in Littleton, Colorado. They grew up going on family trips to the mountains, and love being out in nature. She recently graduated from Colorado State University with a double bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts and Music. After many years of being a music educator and really discovering a love for environmental education, they sought out many opportunities volunteering and teaching about wildlife and conservation at organizations like Reptile and Amphibian Center of the Rockies, Northern Colorado Wildlife Center, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Alexa is absolutely thrilled to be a Naturalist Intern this summer, and is most excited to expand her knowledge of nature, as well as connect with the public and other naturalists! She’s very excited to spend time in Vail and Avon as well! Outside of school and work, Alexa loves spending time with family and friends, drawing, caring for animals, watching cartoons, and going to hockey games. She also loves playing her trumpet, and absolutely adored being in the marching band at CSU for 5 years!
