Lea Lutjens

Lea (she/her) grew up in San Francisco, California, and recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Natural Resources Conservation and a minor in Environmental Science. Growing up in the middle of a big city, she always loved escaping to the surrounding mountains for hikes with her family and friends and going on many trips around the state. Yosemite, Joshua Tree, and Lake Tahoe are among her favorite places to visit. She loves to travel and see the different types of nature in each part of the world. During her time in college, she studied abroad in New Zealand and fell in love with backpacking and exploring the vast natural landscapes there. Most of her work experience in the environmental field has been in labs and offices, so she is thrilled to be a Naturalist where she can be outside and share her love for the natural world with others. In her free time, she loves doing yoga, cooking, reading, and looking for the best coffee shops. She is looking forward to experiencing life in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!
