Paige McAllister

Naturalist

Paige (she/her) is originally from Kentucky, where she grew up exploring and backpacking the Appalachian Mountains. She earned her BS in Wildlife Management and Conservation, along with minors in Biology and Geographical Information Systems from Eastern Kentucky University. During her first trip to Colorado in 2019, Paige fell in love with the mountainous, snowy landscape and unique wildlife. Since then, she has been looking forward to graduating and working in Colorado.

Paige has spent the last year working as a naturalist intern at Natural Bridge State Resort Park, providing her with experience on educating the public about the ecosystem, preserving natural environments specifically dedicated to wilderness populations, and also took on the role as the park’s wildlife biologist, monitoring reptile populations in the area. Through her position as a naturalist, Paige developed a passion for connecting people with the outdoors.

In Paige’s free time, she enjoys catching up on current field guides, sketching in her hammock, and backpacking with her dogs, Autumn and Marley.
