Energy Programs Associate

Sam joined Walking Mountains Science Center’s Sustainability Programs team in October 2020. As an Energy Program Associate she provides support to other Energy Programs staff as well as our locals as they work towards increasing energy efficiency in their homes & businesses. Sam helps the community save money, improve their health and safety, live more comfortably, and reduce their carbon footprint by guiding them through incentives and energy visits available from Walking Mountains Sustainability.
Sam graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a B.S. in Environmental Science & Technology in August 2013. While in school she spent her summers working for the Forest Service facilitating the rehabilitation of forest roads by implementing closures and establishing information boards throughout the Grand Mesa Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forest. Sam grew up in Eagle, CO where she developed a love for soccer and outdoor adventures.
