Johnathan Monroy-Ponce

Johnathan (he/him) is a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Sustainability Intern for Walking Mountains. He was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and decided to attend James Madison University, where he studied Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics. Since a young kid, Johnathan has always enjoyed the outdoors and exploring the many hikes the Appalachian Mountains offer. He enjoys helping people out and has had volunteering experiences such as being a soccer coach for younger kids. 

Jonathan’s favorite activities are hiking, soccer, snowboarding, running, and sharing a laugh.
