Katie Wareham

Foley Graduate Fellow

Katie (she/her) grew up in Maryland where her affection for the outdoors was fueled through exploration of the Appalachian Mountains and Chesapeake Bay. She received her B.A. from Salisbury University where she majored in Environmental Studies and minored in Outdoor Education and Leadership. Since college, Katie has been sharing her passion for the outdoors with others through education at several locations including a nature center on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, state parks in the Finger Lakes of New York, and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah. Most recently, she spent a summer and winter season as a Naturalist with Walking Mountains. Katie has fallen in love with the Rocky Mountains and is thrilled to spend more time exploring and enjoying everything Colorado has to offer. Outside of work Katie enjoys getting lost in the woods, playing soccer, skiing, riding motorcycles, and discovering new interests!
