Will Barror

Sustainability Fellow

Will was born and raised in Maryland, where he grew up hiking, biking, and backpacking in the Appalachian Mountains. He moved west to attend Western Washington University, graduating in March 2021 with a degree in Sustainable Business. At Western, Will was the President of the University’s Net Impact Chapter, an organization focused on promoting environmentally and socially responsible business practices. In the past, he has worked as a backpacking guide in Colorado, a climbing instructor at a summer camp in New Mexico, an engagement intern at a community nonprofit, and a sustainability intern at a commercial spaceflight company. Will is excited to return to Colorado and blend his passions for sustainability and the outdoors this summer at Walking Mountains!

When he’s not working, you can find Will backpacking, on his bike, on his paddleboard, or in the kitchen, whipping up something he hopes will be tasty.
